» Project Planning & Technical Writing
Planning time necessary to develop initial project specifications and refine specifications as development proceeds; includes time spent producing screenshots, documenting customer project features, entering and orchestrating tasks in the work order system, and writing user manuals when projects near completion; also includes meetings where planning and development strategy for a client project are being discussed.
» Project Management
Time spent interacting with Client via phone, email, or in person to nail down project details and/or review Client reactionsto work performed, all-inclusive, save for reviewing bugs with Client that are discovered after site launch; also includes timespent relating details of development needs or design needs to production staff, as well as any activities requiring the project manager to research solutions for customers per customer requests.
» Data Organizing & Formatting
Time spent running queries or manually cleaning imported data, de-duping records, normalizing tables, entering records into collections, mapping collection objects to categories, populating relationship maps among tables, and adjusting formatting or field-splitting for better final presentation.
» Database Design
Time spent diagramming database table relationships, developing stored procedure or triggers, importing and designing tables, creating primary and secondary indexes, merging or importing data. Includes writing CFML, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CGI scripts, PERL scripts or anything else that could be considered programming; also includes ActionScripting in Flash.
» Graphic Design
Covers production of proofs in Photoshop, Illustrator, etc; production of accent or navigation graphics; also includes multimedia design using Flash, Director, RealVideo tools.
» Quality Assurance and Testing
Includes developing a plan for testing an app, performing the actual testing, and reporting test results to a responsible developer. Including a 5-day post launch testing period to remediate any errors.
» Tweaks
Small changes made to a site such as adding a new item in an answer table column, replacing or adding an accent graphic, text tweaks, changing alignment in table cells, etc.
» Maintenance Managment & Consulting
Post launch all contact with CZ Project manager via email, fax or telephone with questions, training queries or other conversations regarding the up-keep and maintenance of Clients' site will be billed at an hourly rate.
» Customer Training
Includes time spent on the phone, email, and in person demonstrating how site constructs work.
» Travel Time
Time spent traveling to and from client meetings will be billed at half of CZ's normal rate.
» Development
