We developed the website for www.constitutionfacts.com. They were in need of interactive quizzes that school children can take on Constitution Day (September 17th) every year. These quizzes consistently result in over 100,000 responses each year. Every year, these responses are analyzed with our reporting tool to see results by state, surprising trends and common misconceptions about the Constitution. The site needs to survive many millions of page views on Constitution Day, so we made sure to architect the server setup to handle this load and carefully monitor the site on Constitution Day. ConstitutionFacts.com also contains a custom e-commerce module to handle the orders for their popular Pocket Constitution Book.
We recently updated constitutionfacts.com’s content and search engine optimization. A combination of clean URLs, proper use of meta tags, semantically valid HTML and social media sharing have caused generic search terms such as U.S. Bill of Rights, U.S. Amendments, United States Declaration of Independence and United States Constitution to consistently return constitutionfacts.com on the first 1-2 pages of search results. This is quite the accomplishment when you consider how many different websites on the Internet contain information about each of these subjects!
